Naiinis ako, kasi nung graduation day, ang daming pumuna na para daw akong gagraduate ng Grade six at hindi highschool 
I scratched my head, I nod once or twice, I tried focusing and did my best imitation of a face showing great enthusiasm. But honestly, I just wanted to get on with the graduation. During the mass, half of what the priest said actually slipped out of my mind.
I almost sobbed when we sang “Go the Distance”. (Mostly because I could see a lot of the girls trying so hard not to cry.) Think about it, after more than 10 years of being together, wouldn’t you just miss them? After all the troubles you’ve all been through, and still stick together no matter how grave the punishments are… Yeah, our batch is more than special.
I am not in the mood to share pictures. Maybe tomorrow, I’ll try.
Of course, no one would forget graduation gifts. Today, I got a P500 from my aunt and another P500 from my grandmother (my mom’s side). Kapag sinama mo yung iba pa na binigay sakin this March, bale may 3500 ako hehe.
I did not get special awards. Except for that thingamajig which I don’t know what you would call it. Pero I am sure (somehow) na I belong to those na binigyan ng thanks ng principal. May part kasi dun, ayon na din sa friends ko, na sinabi na may girl na nanalo sa ibang school sa art category. I am hoping that they were right, kahit di binangit yung name, at least na alala na I once gave our school a trophy form La salle.
My mom, my sister and I celebrated this occasion at SM (Inasal). Then we went home and I started fiddling with my MP4 again.
So that’s it, cards right out on the table. Di ko feel na summer na, na wala ng pasok, na next year I will not see the same faces again…
I got desperate enough to spend P2000 over a fake MP4 player!
Anyway, I like it… And it serves as a graduation gift for me. Hurrah!
My computer teacher treated me a McDonald lunch because I was the only one who got a perfect score in his mastery test.
He excused me in the midst of a class (not actually a class kasi wala namang clase) to tell me not to buy lunch kasi nga libre na nya.
The food was kinda late though. Kasi yung mga classmates ko tapos na kumain, ako wala pang kinakain. E nahihiya naman kung mag expect ako na libre nga nya. Kasi isipin mo, maghihintay ako sa canteen na nagiisa na para bang ‘hoy di pa ko nakain’ pag naabutan nya ko naku, nakakahiya (kahit sabihin mo pa na sha mismo may sabi). Diba, nakakahiya, isipin mo…

So I got upstairs to our room. And after a while someone told me to meet my mentor’s daughter, because she will be the one to hand my lunch. We ate together with the other girl from the lower grade who also got a perfect score.
Today is also the official graduation practice. We went to the church to have the songs lined up, to fix some errands and the likes…
