This is my own list of New Year’s resolution…
What drives me? Well, I just remebered my English teacher when I was in sixth grade. He told us to come up with at least 20 promises for that year.
I was one of the fastest to finish bec I wasn’t really thinking of anything relevant or important. I just wrote a couple of stupid stuff like: I would clean the house, be good, obey etc
On the last part, I added: I will never again make a resolution bec I know I cannot keep them.
And in a red pen, he signed his name with a note saying aprreciated words. You know, something to boost up the confidence.
So here, for 2009!
Improve my study habbits. (I cannot just say “study harder” bec I am still in the process of trying to work on my grades.)
F o c u s (I have an attention span of a squirel)
Make myself more useful (I would like to join extra curricular… maybe some day…)
Earn more friends (I talk a lot now compare before *I think*, but my social status remains below average haha )
Invest on things more essential than on expensive stuff I know I wouldn’t use. (I was supposed to write save more money, but this sounds much better. bec I thought of the money I have saved before, what would I do about it after keeping them? It’s a better idea to keep money and spend them on things that are useful, right?)
